Financial Management 
This is the core application of SSI's financial management suite. SSI's Financial Management system incorporates Fund Accounting, Purchasing, Payables, Revenue Receipting, General Ledger, Budget Preparation, and Reporting into a single tightly integrated Windows-based software module. It can function as a cash-based, modified accrual, or full accrual accounting system.
Asset Management
Asset Management provides a database of all your organization's assets including initial cost, current value, depreciation, insurability, location, and salvage value. It is fully integrated with SSI's Financial Management System.
Treasurer's Function
Treasurer's Function provides an efficient link between the Treasurer's and the Auditor's offices. The software eliminates the need for the Treasurer to keep a different set of books from the auditor to reconcile with the bank simply because the Auditor's system shows a different balance than the bank. The Treasurers Function integrates directly with our Financial Management system to transfer the necessary information.
Inventory Control
Inventory Control keeps an on-line count of all consumable items such as street salt, parts for meters, and street lights. As items are issued or ordered, inventory is automatically reduced or increased respectively, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
VIP – Visual Intelligence Portfolio
For any entity using SSI software that is required to produce and distribute essential information to a variety of stakeholders, VIP is a digital dashboard and reporting solution that produces decision-critical information and presents that information in an intuitive manner to each user’s specifications. Unlike traditional reporting options, VIP automatically produces the critical information required to make decisions and measure performance and then delivers it on demand, utilizing pre-configured charts, graphs, management reports and alerts.
Reporting Modules
GASB ,GAAP
The GASB/GAAP Reporting Modules are great solutions to automating the state reporting process. Year end data is pulled into the GASB or GAAP Reporting System from the Financial Management System. This allows the financials to be presented in a GASB or GAAP presentation format in order to comply with Ohio reporting requirements. The software is completely menu driven so the product is easy to use.
